Board of County Commissioners in regular session, those present being Mr. Cummins,
Mr. Pettit and Mr. Lowstuter.

Minute No. 141 read and approved.
Motion duly made and seconded that the Board for the Assessment and Revision of Taxes
be authorized to prepare voucher for refund in the sum of $5.13 to Fructuoso and Alvira Gonzales,

being 1945 County Tax paid on an incorrect assessment in Smith Township, covering Lot No. 7, in
the J. Winfield Reed Plan, valued at 800.00, inasmuch as this was a duplication of correct
assessment in the named Fructuoso Gonzalez, covering 2 Sty. frame house and Lot No. 7. S. Shady
Avenue, J. .(infield Reed Plan, Section 1, in Burgettstown Borough, upon which assessment 1945
County Tax was also paid.
Motion carried.
Motion duly made and seconded that Amor Halliburton be employed as a Clerk in the Real
Estate Department, replacing Helen Falcon, effective February 1, 1946, and covering the period
from that date to the first Monday in January, 1947. with the proviso that she may be dismissed
upon thirty days' notice; and that Helen Falcon be employed as a Clerk in the office of the County
Commissioners, effective February 1, 1946, and covering the period from that date to the first
Monday in January, 1947, with the proviso that she may be dismissed upon thirty days' notice.
Motion carried.
Motion duly made and seconded that John Lombardo, honorably discharged from the armed
forces of the United States, be re-employed in the Registration Office in the capacity of Registrar
and Inspector of Registrations, effective February 1, 1946, and covering the period from that date
I to the first Monday in January, 1947, with the proviso that he may be dismissed upon thirty days' ;
