O'NEIL, COMMISSIONERS 1 C NO. 143 I Office of the County Commissioners I Washington, Pa., February 8, 1946 I I f Board of County Commissioners in regular session, those present being Mr. Cummins, Mr. Pettit and fir. Lowstuter. I R Minute No. 142 read and approved. I County Controller Harvey Stuart called into the meeting for the purpose of opening bids as per advertisement of the County Controller for Fleet Insurance for Public Liability, Property Damage, Fire, Theft and Collision coverage on truck and automobile equipment and road building machinery owned and operated by Washington County. In accordance with the aforementioned advertisement, the following bids were opened E and read in the presence of the County Commissioners: W. C. BLACK AGENCY Premium for Public Liability and Property Damage is: 89.49 To be placed with following company: Hartford Accident and Indemnity Company I Premium for Fire, Theft and Collision is: 387.89 To be placed with following company: j Hartford Fire Insurance Company Total premium for coverage requested is: s 477.38 J. M. COLAIZZO AGENCY i Premium for Public Liability and Property Damage is: 89.49 To be placed with following company: United States Fidelity and Guaranty Co. s Premium for Fire, Theft and Collision is: 43o.64 To be placed with following company: American Insurance Co. Total premium for coverage requested is: $ 520.13 Motion by Mr. Pettit, seconded by Mr. Lowstuter, that contract for furnishing Fleet Insurancebe awarded to 71. C. Black Agency, Canonsburg, Pa., upon their bid as set forth above, it being the lowest and best bid received. Motion carried, with Controller Stuart present when this action was taken and instructed to return the certified check of the unsuccessful bidder. I Controller Stuart excused from the meeting at this time. There being no further business to come before the meeting, it was adjourned. THE FOREGOING MINUTE DEAD AN1?
