O'NEIL, COMMISSIONERS U 0 NO. 146 Office of the County Commissioners Washington, Pa., February 25, 1946 Board of County Commissioners in regular session, those present being Mr. Cummins, Mr. Pettit and IVY. Lowstuter. Minute No. 145 read and approved. Motion duly made and seconded that the County Controller be authorized to advertise for the printing and delivering to the office of the County Commissioners the necessary ballots and election supplies required for the conduct of the Primary Election to be held Tuesday, May 21, 1946. Motion carried. Motion duly made and seconded that the proposed budget for Washington County General Fund for the year 1946 be made available for public inspection in the office of the Chief Clerk of the County Commissioners until Monday, March 18, 1946, on which date the said budget will be finally adopted and the rate of taxation fixed for the year 1946, and that the following public notice be given in the Washington Reporter and Washington Observer: NOTICE f In compliance with the provisions of the Acts of Assembly governing such matters, the proposed budgets for the financial affairs for the Washington County General Fund and the Washington County Institution District for the ! fiscal year 1946 have been prepared and are available for public inspection in the office of the Chief Clerk to the County Commissioners, Court House, Washington, Pa., said budgets to be finally adopted on Monday, March 18, 1946. LOWSTUTER County Commissioners Motion duly made and seconded that Elizabeth Martina, employed as a Clerk in the Registration Office, be granted an indefinite leave of absence without pay, beginning February 16, 1946. Motion carried. Motion duly made and seconded that the following Resolution be adopted: BE IT RESOLVED by the County Commissioners of Washington County, that the plans submitted by the Pennsylvania Department of Highways for the construction of Legislative Route 109, Section No. 3, in North Franklin Township, between Station 775�66.30 and Station 879/ 8.64, have been examined and the County Commissioners agree that Washington County will not assume liability for any property damages resulting from the construction of the above highway as contemplated by these plans, or any damages arising out of any changes or alteration of drainage resulting from the construction or maintenance of the highway, or any damages resulting to any property or holdings of any Public Utility Company; nor will the County assume any damages resulting to any coal or other minerals in and underlying the property affected by this improvement.
