M Motion by Mr. Pettit, seconded by Mr. Lotuter, that contract be awarded to Monongahela Publishing Comparq and 'Lard Printing Comparq on their joint bid as set forth in Minute No. 148, dated March 8, 1946, it being the only bid received. V Motion carried. Motion duly made and seconded that Alex Patterson, of Avella, Pa., and Kenneth Murray, of Charleroi, Pa., be appointed as Special Field Registrars, -effective March 4, 1946, to serve in 1 such capacity at the respective places and on the dates set forth in a schedule for special registrations approved by the Registration Commission. IMotion carried, with the Chief Clerk in the Registration Office directed to make notation of this action on the minutes of the Registration Commission, i There being no further business to come before the Board at this time., the meeting was a � adjourned. 1 ! Minute No. 148 read and approved. Motion duly made and seconded that refund In the amount of $17.18 be made to Joseph Lipman f McDonald, Pa., for county taxes for the pears 1943-44-45, inasmuch as the building assessed to him f�r the said gears at $850,00 was destroyed by fire in January, 1.943-, this fact being verified by letterii ( from the Assessor., dated March 9, 1946, the said Joseph Lipman having paid the county taxes on the i j building in question for the years set forth, under protest, pending an adjustment -of the assessed valuation of the building because of its destruction by fire.
