O'NEIL, COMMISSIONERS 1 1 1 NO. 151 Office of the County Commissioners Washington, Pa., March 180 1946 Board of County Commissioners in regular session, those present berg Mr. Cummins, Mr. Pettit and Mr. Loxstuter. Motion duly made and seconded that the County Controller be authorized to advertise i for bids for furnishing 1 Double Curtain Case - Treasurerls Office, 1 Roller Shelf Counter i with continuous linoleum top, 96 roller shelvesTreasurer's Office, and 1 Roller Shelf Counter with continuous linoleum top, 56 Roller Shelves - Recorder's Office;_bids to be received i until 1100 a.m., EST, Monday April 1, 1946, and opened immediately thereafter in the office i of the County Commissioners; proposal blanks to be obtained and specifications viewed at the office of the Chief Clerks Court House, Washington, Pa.; a certified check__in.the amount of $500.00 to accompany each bid; and the County Commissioners to reserve -the -right to reject any or all bids. Motion carried. Motion duly made and seconded that the budget for the General AnA of the County of j Washington for the fiscal year 1946 be finally_ adopted as advertised tv the. County Commission- i ers, the said budget having been available for public inspection_in the -Office of the Chief Clerk to the County Commissioners from February 26, 1946 to this date, in accordance frith the provisions of the Act of Assembly of July 18, 1935, and -that the rate of taxation upon the valuation of properties of the County of Washington$ in order to raise sufficient revenue to meet required expenditures for the fiscal year 1946, .be fixed at five _ and oneo-fourth (5) mills, which mares the payment of taxes in the amount of fifty -tom and, -one-half (521) cents upon each $100.00 of assessed valuation of real estate and. occupation. Motion carried. Motion duly made and seconded that the County Treasurer be authorized to abate penalty and interest on 1940 County Tax assessed in Nottingham _T ownship against -Alfred Morrison, covering 75 acres of surface, a house and barn, concurring in resolution of Nottingham Township School Board dated March 1.5, 1946, and resolution of Nottingham Township Board of Supervisors dated f March 16, 1946.
