PETTIT, JOHN N. ❑'NEIL, COMMISSIONERS NO, 152 Office of the County Commissioners Washington, Pa., March 22, 1946 Board of County Commissioners in regular session, those present being Mr. Cunni.ns, Mr. Pettit and Mr. Lcwrstuter. Minutes Nos. 149 and 151 read and approved. There being no further business to come before the Board at this time, the meeting was adjourned. READ AND APPROVED: March 29�� �96 , i NO. 153 Office of_ the Courby Commissioners Washington, Pa., March 29, 1946 Board of County Commissioners in regular session, those present being Mr. Cummins, Mr. Pettit and Mr. Lowstuter. Minutes Nos. 150 and 152 read and approved. Motion duly made and seconded that the County Treasurer be authorized to cancel Tax file of April 3, 1944, for delinquent 1938 taxes in the name of Lawrence B. Cook, Esquire, Carroll Town- ship., covering 9 lots (two of ihich have since been redeemed to protect the present owners), such I jsale being in error because of inaccurate and erroneous assessment records for the said year of 1938� j and that the assessment records and County Treasurer's Tax. Lien Dockets for subsequent years be corrected accordingly. Motion carried* i Motion duly made #zd seconded that the County Treasurer be authorized to cancel Tax ` i Sale of March 24, 1942, covering delinquent School and Road Tax for the year 1936 on 61 Acres SurfacO and Bungalow, assessed to Angelo and Mar7 Dorazio in Fallowfield Township, inasmuch as the said delinquent tax was paid as indicated by receipts Na* 668 and 972, for School and Road Tax, 1 respectively, which were signed by Louie B. Stroud, the duly elected TaxL Collector for the said township, the said receipts being in possession of the owners, and the Treasurerts Dockets ` _ 1 wherein appeared the said lien: having been satisfied by H. Russell Stahlman,_the duly appointed . i Solicitor for the Road and School District of the said township. Motion carried. Motion duly made and seconded that refund be made to Hazel Atlas Glass Company covering 1943-444-45 county taxes in the amount of 23.31 paid on Lots 97-126-127-128-129, Scottdale Plan, I Canton Township, the said lots also being assessed as right of way to the Pittsburgh Railways { Company in said township; also covering the house, which carries a valuation of 600.00, and was i assessed on Lot 74 (valuation $100.00) for the same years, there having been no house on the said lot for the years set forth. S Motion carried.
