O'NEIL, COMMISSIONERS >t� NO. 155 Office of the County Commissioners Washington, Pa., April 5s 1946 } r Board of County Commissioners in regular session,- those present being Nr.,Cummins, Mr. Pettit and Mr. Lowstuter. Minutes Nos. 153 and 154 read and approved. i Motion duly made and seconded that the County -Controller be authorized -to advertise for bids on furnishing and delivering Two (2) 1946 Plymouth Sedans, said bids to be received until 11 oIclock a.m., EST, Monday, April 15, 1946, and opened immediately thereafter in the office of the County Coani.ssioners. Motion carried. The following Resolution of the Board of County Commissioners of -the County of Washington State of Pennsylvania, relative to the issue by the said County of a note for the Hundred Thousand ($100,000.00) Dollars as a temporary loan, was presented, duly seconded andadryed by said Boards to -mitt WHHERFA.S, it has become necessary for said Board to borrow the sum of One Hundred Thousand (100,000.00) Dollars for the purpose of meeting current expenses for.the year 1946s and to be payable out of taxes and other current revenues which have. been assessed and are to be levied and collected by the County during the year 1946; now,, therefore, County BE IT RESOLVED by the Board offConni.ssioners of the said County of Washington, that for the purpose of providing funds for the payment of current expenses of the County, the proper officials of the said County are hereby authorised and directed to negotiate a temporary loan on such terms as may be agreed upon -by them, payable out of taxes, which are to be levied and collected during the year 1946, and so much of said -taxes as may be necessary to repay said loan, with interests is hereby set aside and designated for that purpose, and issue a note therefor, payable August 5, 1946s with interest from date of -said note at the rate of one (1) per cent. per annum, free of all taxes levied by the Commoumm1th of Pennsyl— vanian which said taxes the County of Washington assumes and agrees to pays said note to be negotiated as follows: GENA.L FUND SINKING YMM caaassioN ................................s 100.9000.00 There being no further business to come before the Board at this time, the meeting was adjourned. - �U�wi­ mogs V, IWWAIN1 ZI: ;i .1011011 April 8. 1946� ATTEST: / /" U� ttrtCL- - E
