Mr. Pettit .and Mr. Lowstuter.
Minutes Nos. 16411 165, 166 and 167 read and approved.
Notion duly made and seconded that the County Treasurer be authorized to cancel tax
sale of April 24, 1940, for non-payment of 1932 County Tax, of property situate in the Third
Ward of the City of Washington, described as f'Vacant lot - 59 E. Spruce Ave,'!., and assessed
in the name of Samuel Milai, inasmuch as this is a duplicate_ assessment with that of William

i McEnrue, the rightful owner.

Motion carried.
Deputy Controller Dentel called into the meeting for the purpose_ _of opening bids,
j In accordance with advertisement of the County Controller for the retubing_of two 72x18' HHT
s
boilers in the heating plant at the Court House,
Deputy Controller Dentel reported that no bids had been received.
' Motion duly made and seconded that an appropriation in the sum of One Hundred
i
Fifty ($1.50.00) Dollars be made to 110th Infantry' for the purpose of reorganization, check
I to be made payable to James W. Hawkins, Colonel.

Motion carried.

There being no further business to come before. the Board, at this, time, the meeting
was adjourned.
