ROSS R. CUMMINS, FRANCIS E. PETTIT, JOHN N. O'NEIL, COMMISSIONERS
Motion by Mr. Pettit,and seconded by Mr. Cummins that contract for the printings
and delivering the necessary ballots for the conduct of the General Election to be held Tuesday';
November 5, 1946 be awarded to Monongahela Publishing- Go. and Ward -Printing Company- on their joint �id
as set forth in preceding minute No. 184s dated August 23, 1946.
Motion carried.

Motion by Mr, Pettit and seconded by Mr. Cummins that contract for furnishing, and delivering
the necessary election supplies for the conduct- of the General Election to be held Tuesday, Novembe

5, 1946 be awarded to'hi. G. Johnston and Cow, Pittsburgh, Pa. on their bid as set forth in
preceding minute No. 184s dated August 23, 1946. �
Motion carried.
Motion duly made and seconded that the County Controller_ be authorized to advertise for
bids for furnishing and laying fifty—one (51) square yards of Mohawk Cabinet,Carpet (Color: Green)
and forty—five (45) square yards of 32 oz. Denafelt padding in room now occupied -by Judge Cummins.
Motion carried.
Motion duly made and seconded that the County give credit at the time of redemption of
net rents collected for the years of 1945 and 1946 on property situate in the ,Borough of, Charleroi. and
sold to Washington County in the nay of. Cyril, S. S. and Methodius Church, T__

Museum Building, Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, be granted permission to erect a monument at the �
northeast corner of the Court House lawn, the exact location to be subject to the approval of the
Commissioners.

Minutes Nos. 185 and 186•read and approved.
Motion duly rude and seconded that refund be made in favor of I. Vernon and M. Virginia
Pfile, 305 Lincoln Ave., Charleroi, Pa., for the year 1946 in the amount of $12.26, covering
Personal Property Tax on 100 shares Nat'l Can., non-taxable stock inadvertently included in their
return for the said year and tax paid on same to the County.
Motion carried.

Motion duly made and seconded that the County Treasurer be authorized to cancel Tax
Sale of April 22, 1940, for the non-payment of 1932 County, School_ and._ Borough Taxes on property
situate in the Borough of Burgettstown, described as "2 vacant lots Tile factory North Main
! Street#, assessed in the name of Harry A. Conn. -inasmuch as said taxes had been previously paid
and liens were entered in error.
Motion carried.
