PETTIT, J❑HN N. ❑'NEIL., COMMLSSIONERS NO. 200 Office of the County Commissioners Washington, Pa., Nov. 4, 1946 Board of County Commissioners in regular session, those _ present being Bar. Cummins, Mir. Pettit and Mr. Lowstuter. Minutes Nos. 198 and 199 read and approved. Motion duly made and seconded that the polling place in the Second District of North Charleroi be changed from "Storeroom, Victor Ladick, 464 Center Ave.ff (as set forth in Minute 1 No. 199, dated October 30, 1946) to "Second Floor French Club, Conrad Avenues, the former polling I place being found unsuitable. Such action is taken by the Board under the provisions of the Election Code of 1937 for emergency changes in polling places within ten dais of election. j i Motion carried. I Motion du3,v made and seconded that the.polling place in the_Seccnd District of Californial be designated as "Herron Hall, State Teachers College (Third. St. Entrance)", petition for said ` change having been dully presented to the Board prior to ten days before the Election and notices of contemplated change posted as required by law. Motion carried. Motion duly made and seconded that the following persons be named -as Assistants to the i Official Return Board to compute the votes cast at the General Election to beheld November 5, 1946� Corrine Haught Helen Falcon Nell Nicksick Irene Sokol John Gnip Donald Hallam Juanita Sproat ' Adeline Wright � W. W. Croner Motion carried. Deputy Controller Dentel called into the meeting for the purpose of opening bids i received in accordance with advertisement of the County Controller for proposals .for furnishing j and delivering coal for heating the Court House and Jail. In accordance therewith, the following bids were opened and reads CHAMPION COAL COMPANY, 409 wood Street, Pittsburgh 22, Pa.
