PETTIT, J❑HN N. ❑'NEIL, CommissiL7N6R5 NO. 207 Office of the County Commissioners Washington, Pa.., December 130 1946 Board of County Commissioners in regular session those present being Mr. Cummins, !Mr. Pettit and Mr. Lowstuter. i Minute No. 206 read and approved. Notion duly made and seconded that the County Treasurer -be authorized to cancel the Tax Sale of April 2, 1945, in the name of Sophie Xasfak, Cecil Township.. for 1939 Road Tax on property described as "House &Trot J51, Adj. McNary Plan, inasmuch as the said tax was paid to the local Tag Collector and the owner has the necessary receipt covering the payment of the tax in question. Motion carried. I Motion by Mr. Lowstuter, seconded by Mr. Cummins, that Nell_Niekelck,-.Bookkeeper, be granted an indefinite leave of absence, without pay, effective December 15, 1946. Motion carried. Motion duly made and seconded that the following Resolutions be adopted« RESOLUTION BE IT RESOLVED by the County Commissioners of Washingtoa County that the plans submitted by the Pennsylvania Department of Hlghvays for the changing of Traffic Route 31, Section 3, in Somerset and Fallowfield Townships, between Station 665 � 50 and station 818 � 96, have been examined and the County Commissioners agree that Washington County will not assume liability for any property damages resulting from the construction of the above highway as contemplated by these plans, or any damages arising out of any changes or alteration of drainage resulting from the construction or maintenance of the highway, or any damages resulting to any property or holdings of any Public Utility Company; nor will the County assume any damages resulting to any coal - or other minerals in and underlying the property affected by this improvement. RESOLUTION BE IT RESOLVED by the County Commissioners of Washington County that the plans submitted by the Pennsylvania Department of Highways for the changing of Traffic Route 31, Section 1, in South Strabane and Somerset Townships, between Station 71 � 76 and Station.352 J 00, have been examined and the County Commissioners agree that Washington County will not assume Liability ! for any property damages resulting from the construction -of the above highway as contemplated by these plans, or any damages arising out of any changes or + alteration of drainage resulting from the construction or maintenance of the highway, or any damages resulting to anyproperty or holdings of any Public Utility Company; nor will the County assume any damages resulting to any coal or other minerals in and underlying the property affected by this improvement.
