Minute No. 215 read and approved.
i� Motion duly made and seconded that the County Treasurer be authorized to cancel tax sales
I
of January, 1940s and April, 1940, of property assessed in the name -of Mrs_. Mary Perri and described
as "Lot 321 S. Donora", inasmuch as said described property was sold by J.Z. Masters, County
Treasurer, on the 9th day of June, 1924s to Albert Erdelyi, as evidenced by deed recorded in Reed
Book 550, page 598, but Albert Erdelyi has never been assessed with the property purchased at this
tax sale.
Motion carried.
Motion duly made and seconded that approval be given to the signing of a lease between
Michael G. Greco, of 111 Borth Main St.s Washington, Fa., lessor, and 'Washington County Commission s,
lessees, covering Two (2) rooms, second floor: Arcade Building, Cherry Ave.s Washington, Pa., now I
occupied by the Fare Security Administration, for a period of one year from the -1st day of January,
1947.

Motion by Mr. Lowstuter, seconded by Mr. Cummins, that the- following persons be employed �
in the Court House in the respective positions set forth for the year 1947s effective as stated,
and covering the period from that date to the first Monday in January, 1948:
Russell Scott, Janitor, effective January 16, 1947
Elverni.a Stevens, Cleaner, Effective January 6, 1947
Nellie manning, Cleaner, effective January 16,, 1947
Lulu Swart., Cleaner, effective January 6, 1947
Motion carried, with Mr. Pettit voting "No".
Motion by Mr. Lowstuter, seconded by Mr. Cummins., that Hugh O'Donnell be employed as
Custodian of the Records in the Tax Assessment Department for the year 1947-, effective January 6,

1947, and covering the period from that date to the first Monday in J.-Aivary, 1948.

There being no further business to come before the Board at this time, the meeting was
