O'NEIL, COMMISSIONERS NO. 227 Office of the County Commissioners Washington, Pa., Feb. 28, 1947 Board of County Commissioners in regular session, those present being Pair. Cummins, Mr. Pettit and Mr. Lowstuter. Minute No. 226 read and approved. There being no further business to come before the Board at this time, the meeting was adjourned. THE FOREGOING MINUTE READ AND APPROVED: Mar. 7, 1947 ATTEST: tt0t,"- NO. 228 Office of the County Commissioners Washington, Pa., March 7, 1947 Board of County Commissioners in regular session, those present being Ur. Cummins, Mr. Pettit and Mr. Lowstuter. Minute No. 227 read and approved. Motion duly made and seconded that the Board of Commissioners rent a safety deposit box from Washington Union Trust Company, Washington, Pa., in the name of the Chairman of the Board of Commissioners, the Controller, and the Treasurer of Washington County, with the stipulation that two of said persons must be present to open the box, and the names of the officials to be certified I to the Washington Union Trust Company by the Chief Clerk to the County Commissioners. Motion carried. Motion duly made and seconded that the Board for the Assessment and Revision of Taxes be authorized to prepare voucher for refund of the sum of $12.99 to John Zediker, R. D. #1, Eighty Four, Pa., representing overpayment of 1941 County taxes assessed against 2 houses and 2 lots, Wylandville, owned by Sara Jane Zediker, occurring when a transposition was made of the tax also assessed against Sara Jane Zediker on 40 acres of surface in North Strabane Township, on which the correct amount of tax was paid, as evidenced by records in the County Treasurer's Office. Motion carried. Motion duly made and seconded that the County Treasurer be authorized to cancel that portion of tax sale of January, 1940, for non—payment of 1928 County Tax assessed against Tylerdale Land Company and covering Lot No. 207 in the Tyler Plan, Canton Township, inasmuch as this was_a duplicate assessment with that of John Sten, the owner of said property.
