O'NEIL, COMMISSIONERS NO. 230 Office of the County Commissioners Washington, Pa., March 14, 1947 Board of County Commissioners in regular session, those present being Mr. Cummins, 1 Mr. Pettit and Mr. Lowstuter. 4 Minute No. 229 read and approved. Motion duly made and seconded that the County Controller be authorized to advertise I for bids for the repair and restoration of One Hundred Eighty-two (1$2) Volumes, more or less, i of old Record Books now on file in the Office of the Recorder of Deeds, Court House, Washington d County, Pennsylvania, according to specifications. Motion carried. There being no further business to come before the Board at this time, the meeting i was adjourned. ' Motion duly made and seconded that the budget for the General Fund of the County of j Washington for the fiscal year 1947 be finally adopted as advertised by the County Commissioners, the said budget having been available for public inspection in the Office of the Chief Clerk to the County Commissioners from February 24, 1947 to this date, in accordance with the provisions of the Act of Assembly of July 18, 1935, and that the rate of taxation upon the valuation of properties of the County of Washington, in order to raise sufficient revenue to meet required expenditures for the fiscal year 1947, be fixed at five and one-fourth (51) mills, which makes i the payment of taxes in the amount of fifty-two and one-half (521) cents upon each $100.00 of } assessed valuation of real estate and occupation.
