Board of County Commissioners in regular session, those present being Mr. Cummins,
w Mr. Pettit and Mr. Lawstuter.
Minute No. 272 read and approved.
Deputy Controller Dentel called into the meeting for the purpose of awarding contract for
j furnishing and delivering coal for heating the Court House and Jail .fcr the 1947-1948 Season,
# in accordance with bids received and opened August 29, 1947.
k Motion by Mr. Pettit, seconded by Mr. Lowstuter, that the bid of Norton Wright and Mike
Suzy, for the sum of $6,40 per ton, be approved and accepted, it being the lowest bid received.
Motion carried, with the Controller instructed to return the certified check of the
unsuccessful bidder.
Motion duly made and seconded that the County Treasurer be authorised to cancel tax sale
of March 241, 1942, covering property assessed in the name of Laura Woodburn in Peters Township
and described as "15 acres Surface adjoining Charles Rupp, Paff and Braun", inasmuch as said

property was previously sold at Tax Sale on April 26, 1940.

Motion duly made and seconded that the County Treasurer be authorised to cancel Tax
Sale of April 26, 1943, for the nor -payment of 1937 School and Road Faxes assessed in the name
of Alex Statis against property described as IfLot 71 Gayman Plana, in West Bethlehem Township,
inasmuch as said property for the year 1937 was a duplication of property assessed to Frank
0ttena as "House and lot 71 Gayman Plants.

Motion duly made and seconded that the County Treasurer be authorized to accept pay-
ment of 19422-43-44-454�6 delinquent taxes liened against property of Joseph Greskovich situate
j in Charleroi, Pa., on a valuation of $200.00 for the lot only. This property was described for
the years 1942-43-44 as f'2 sty fr 8 room house & lot 274s 835 Oakland Avenue., Charleroi",
j and for the years 1945 and 1946 as N2 sty fr 6 room house and lot 274, 835 Oakland Avenue,
Charleroi", whereas the house has been removed since 1935.
Motion carried.
Motion duly made and seconded that the following polling places be changed as set

f forth and rentals fixed, under the provisions of the Election Code of 1937 for emergency
changes in polling places within ten days of election, the former polling places not being
