No. 275 Office of the County Commissioners Washington, Pa., September 15, 1947 Board of County Commissioners in regular session, those present being Mr. Cummins, " Mr. Pettit and Mr. Lowstuter. )Minute No. 274 read and approved. Motion duly made and seconded that the County Treasurer be authorized to cancel Tau Sale of k April 3, 1946, to Fondini LaBelle, for non-payment of 1940 County Tax covering property assessed in the name of Emma Glenn in the Seventh Ward of the City, of Washington and described as "Lots 230-233 Terrace Avenue, Clark Place Plan", inasmuch as said property was previously sold on April 29, 1940, to Washington County Commissioners; and that the Board for the Assessment and Revision of Takes be authorized to prepare voucher for refund of the sum of $10.51 to Fondini LaBelle, 255 Terrace Avenue, Washington, Pennsylvania, in accordance with.the above cancellation. Motion carried. Motion duly made and seconded that valuation of property assessed in Fallowfield Townshipa Leo Yablonski and Geo. J. Gullick for the against g years 1943, 1944s, 1945 and 1946, de- scribed as "Water System & Lot 75 Soudan Plan", be reduced from $3500.00 to $500.00 for said years, inasmuch as this property was erroneously assessed to include property of Earl Beazell, which was also rightfully assessed to said Beazell. Motion carried. Motion duly made and seconded that the Board for the Assessment and Revision of Taxes i be authorized to prepare voucher for refund of the sum of $8,78 in favor of .Ella M. Adamson, c/o Mrs. John S. Hunter, Rea, Pa., as per tax receipts on file, representing duplicate payment of 1947 County Tax on property described as "2 story frame house and Lot 4 Donehey Addition, Hopewell Township" and also on occupation tax, original payment having been made on August 29, 1947 and duplicate payment on August 30, 1947. Motion carried. Motion duly made and seconded that the Board for the Assessment and Revision of Taxes be authorized to cancel tax liens for 1932 and 1933 County Tax, on file in the Prothonotary+s office at No. 1544 August Term, 1938, MIS, and 3958 August Term, 1939, N=, in the name of Etta Gooch, against property in the Seventh Ward of the City of Washington described as F. H. & L. #122, 845 Donnan Avenue, Clark Place Plan", inasmuch as this property was sold at Sheriff is Sale at No. 159 August Term, 1933, in the name of Floyd Gooch, and taxes paid to the County Treasurer from proceeds of the sale were credited to property owned by Floyd Gooch and situate at "191 I Wellington Avenue". Etta Gooch became the owner of the property at 845 Dorman Avenue on Jan, 22, 1930 and recoveyed to Floyd Gooch on June 12, 1930, but assessment remained in the name of Etta Gooch for the years 1932 and 1933, causing the error in distribution of proceeds of the Sheriff Is I Sale.
