Minute No. 284 read and approved.
Motion duly made and seconded that the County Treasurer be authorized to cancel Tax Sale
of April 31, 1946, to James C. Bane, covering property in the Seventh Ward of Washington, assessed in the
name of Mrs. Emma Glenn, and described as "Lots 265-266 Shirls Avenue, Allison Land Company Plan",
inasmuch as this property was previously sold at Tax Sale of April 29, 1940; to Washington County
Commissioners; also, that the Board for the Assessment and Revision of Taxes be authorized to prepare
voucher for refund of the sum of $9.33 to James C. Bane, this -being the amount paid at said Tax Sale.,
Motion carried,
Motion duly made and seconded that the County Treasurer be authorized to cancel Tax Sale of
June 25, 1918, to Washington County for the non-payment of 1916 Road Tax in the name of J. K. Lundy
(liened in the name of Jacob Lundy) on property described as "Lot 1063 Blainsburg, W. S. Land Co.,
East Pike Run Township", assessed at $75.00, inasmuch as said lot was a duplication with property
assessed for said year at $650.00 to Jacob Lundy as "H & L, Blainsburg".
Motion carried.
There being no further business to come before the Board at this time, the meeting was
adjourned.

Motion duly made and seconded that approval be given to the signing of a Release of
Damages by Gertrude E. McLoney, et al., to Washington County, for the sum of Two Hundred Ninety-nine
(299.00) Dollars, covering property abutting on State Legislative Route 621273, between Station
98/82 and Station 104/75, in Buffalo Township.
Motion carried.
Motion duly made and seconded that approval be given to the signing of a Release of Damages
by John Duni, dated Nov. 25, 1947, to Washington County, for the sum of One (1.00) Dollar, covering
