Minutes Nos. 16411 165, 166 and 167 read and approved. Notion duly made and seconded that the County Treasurer be authorized to cancel tax sale of April 24, 1940, for non-payment of 1932 County Tax, of property situate in the Third Ward of the City of Washington, described as f'Vacant lot - 59 E. Spruce Ave,'!., and assessed in the name of Samuel Milai, inasmuch as this is a duplicate_ assessment with that of William i i McEnrue, the rightful owner. I Motion carried. Deputy Controller Dentel called into the meeting for the purpose_ _of opening bids, j In accordance with advertisement of the County Controller for the retubing_of two 72x18' HHT s boilers in the heating plant at the Court House, Deputy Controller Dentel reported that no bids had been received. ' Motion duly made and seconded that an appropriation in the sum of One Hundred i Fifty ($1.50.00) Dollars be made to 110th Infantry' for the purpose of reorganization, check I to be made payable to James W. Hawkins, Colonel. i i Motion carried. I There being no further business to come before. the Board, at this, time, the meeting was adjourned. CUMMINS, FR.ANCIS E. PETTIT, JOHN N. O'NEIL, COMMISSIONERS In accordance therewith, the following bid of W. C. Black Agency, being the only one re- ceived., was opened and read: W. C. BUCK AGENCY I We respectfully submit the follasing quotation for Public Liability Insurance, limits $1.5,000.00 to $300,000.00., as per schedule attached hereto., for a term of three (3) years, effective at noon, I I June i, 1946: j Premi.um for Public Liability Insurance is: $ 260.00 To be placed with the following company: j Hartford Accident & Ind. Co. 1 Certified check in the amount of $50,►00., made payable to Harvey Stuart, Controller, is enclosed. Motion by Mr. Pettit„ seconded by Mr. Lowstuter, that the -above bid of W. C. Motion duly made and seconded that approval be given to the request of The Bell Telephone i Company of Pennsylvania for the erection of a pole., anchor guy and underground conduit on property i of Washington County at the Donora-Webster Bridge, as shoen on Bell. Telephone Company Plan i i 50-R-4096-M. submitted 5-2-46, it being understood that no portion of this installation shall be in contact with the bridge structure at any .point. j Motion carried. Motion duly made and seconded that the County Treasurer be authorised to cancel tax sale of January 22, 194os for the non-payment of 1930 County Tax, and the sale of April- 22, 194o, for the ! { non-payment of 1931s 1932s 1933 and 1934 County, School and Borough Tact and 1931 Bond Tax., of property situate in the Borough of Bentleyville and described as 03 lots #3-4-5 Oaks Flan.", assessed in the name of John Puskarich, inasmuch as these assessments are duplications with those i of Anton and Katherine Puskarich, the rightful omers, for .said years.
