Washington, Pa., August 9, 1946
Board of County Commissioners in regular session, those present being Mr. Cummins,
Mr. Pettit and Mr. Lowstuter.
Minute No. 180 read and approved.
Motion duly made and seconded that the Board of Commissioners assume payment of rental
in the sum of $34-50 per month for office now occupied by the local branch of Fam Security
Administration, beginning August 1, 1946, and continuing for the balance of the year 1946.
Motion carried.
Motion duly made and seconded that the bid of Harry W. Trushel in the amount of

$31,000.00 for the property of the Superior Mining Company be rejected as inadequate and the
Solicitor be authorized and directed to secure an Order of Court for a re -sale of the property,
free and clear of all liens, in accordance with the petition of the Commissioners therefor.
Motion carried.
There being no further business to come before the Board at this time, the meeting was
adjourned.

Motion duly made and seconded that the County Controller be authorized to advertise
for the printing and delivering to the office of the County Commissioners the necessary ballots
and election supplies for the conduct of the General Election to be held Tuesday, November 5,
1946. Motion carried.
There being no further business to come before the Board at this time, the meeting
was adjourned.
