Minutes Nos. 201 and 202 read and approved. Notion duly wade and seconded that the following Resolution be adopted: Be it resolved by the County Commissioners of Washington County, that the plans submitted by the Department -of Highways for the changing of a channel of Chartiers Creek along Legislative Route 108, in North Strabane Township.. at Station 463A6.2, have been ermined and the County Commissioners agree that the County will assume liability for any and all property damages resulting from the changing of the channel as contemplated by these plans, and also all damages arising out of any changes or_alteration of drainage resulting from the construction or maintenance of this channel change. Motion carried. Deputy Controller Dentel called into the meeting for the pose of opening bids received in accordance -with advertisement of the County Controller for the furnishing and delivering of one 2-floor Special Deluxe 1946 Plymouth Sedan. In accordance therewith, the following bid, being the only one received, was opened and reads l OL1? TRAIL MOTORS INC. 122 E. Maiden St. WasjLAMtont Penna.. In accordance with the advertisement of the County Controller for furnishing and delivering one 2-Door Special Deluxe 1946 Plymouth Sedan, I (or We) propose to furnish and deliver said item for the sun of $ 1208.19 eesss"71`"ederal Tax A certified check in the sum of $100.00 is herewith enclosed. f i �Ll I� MINUTE BOOK BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS WASHINGTON COUNTY, PENNSYLVANIA ROSS R. PETTIT, JOHN N. ❑'NEIL, COMMISSIONERS 7 { Motion duly made and seconded that contract for furnishing Plymouth Sedan be awarded a to Old Trail Motors, Inc., upon their bid as set forth above. I Motion carried. Deputy Controller Dentel excused from the meeting at this time. i Motion by Mr. Loxstuter, seconded by Mr. Cummins., that Harriet Trinoni, of Langeloth, be employed as Secretary in the Office of Director of veterans Affairs for the year 1946, effective Nov. 251, 1946, and covering the period from, that date -to the first Monday in January, 1947. i Motion carried, with Mr. Cummins and Mr. Lowtuter voting vAye", Mr. Pettit not voting. 4 Motion by Mr. Lowstuter, seconded by Mr. Cummina, that Kenneth -Murray be employed as a Clerk in the Office of the Board for the Assessment _and Revision of _Taus for the year 1946, j effective Nov. 25, 1946, and covering the period from that date to the first Monday in i January, 1947. i Motion carried, with Mr. Cummins and Mr. Loarstuter voting "Aye, Mr. Pettit not i voting.
