Lowstuter. Motion duly made and seconded that the polling place in the First District'of the Third Ward of Washington be changed from "Room formerly occupied by Mock Driving School" to "Frank S. Alley Garage, 19 Highland- Avenue", notices of proposed change having been posted in 1 accordance with law. { Motion carried. Motion duly made and seconded that the polling places in the following districts be changed to the locations set forth, the former polling places being no longer available; such action being taken by the Board under the provisions of the Election Code of 1937 for emergency changes in polling places -within ten days of elections ! From: 155 West Chestnut street To: Washington Home improvement Co., 241 Vest Chestnut Street Motion duly made and seconded that the claim of the Commonwealth against property of Washington County, formerly o:rned by the Donegal Corporation, situate in Donegal Township, in the sum of $893.07, for State Taxi be approved and payment made. j Motion carried. Motion by Mr. Lowstuter, seconded by Mr. Cummins = that Betty iiugus, Clerk in the Tax Assessment Office, be transferred to the position of Bookkeeper for the Commissioners, effective October 16i 1947.
