PETTIT, JOHN N. ❑'NEIL, COMMISSIONERS NO. 131 Office of the County Cottmti. s sioners Washington, Pa., November 26, 1945 Board of County Commissioners in regular session, those present being Mr. Cummins, Mr. Pettit and Mr. Lowstuter. Motion duly made and seconded that the following Resolution be adopted: BE IT RESOLVW by the County Commissioners of Washington County, that the plans submitted by the Pennsylvania department of Highways for the changing of Re -located Traffic Route 31 and/or Legislative Routes 118, 519, 62136, 62097 and 62156,,in Fallowfield Township and Twilight Borough, between Stations j 837,4600 and 1140/00, have been examined and the County j Commissioners agree that Washington County will not assume liability for any property damages resulting from the construction of the above highway as contemplated by these plans, or any damages arising out of any changes or alteration j of drainage resulting from the construction or maintenance of ,the highway, or any damages resulting to any property or holdings of any Public Utility Company; nor will the County assume any damages resulting to any coal or other minerals in and underlying the property affected by this improvement. Minutes Rios. 130 and 131 read and approved. Motion duly made and seconded that the County Treasurer be authorized to cancel tax sale of April 22, 1940, to Washington County, covering Lot No. 65 in the Hallam and Berthel Plan of hots in Canton Township, for the non-payment of 1931-32-33 and 34 County, School and Road Taxes, inasmuch as this tax was a duplicate assessment of property owned by Arthur Gromo. Motion carried. Motion duly made and seconded that an appropriation in the amount of $300.00 be made to the Test Alexander Agricultural Association towards defraying expenses in connection with j the annual fair.
