Motion by Mr. Pettit, seconded by fir. OfiNeil, that the contract for printing Nine Thousand
(9,000) copies of Controller's Report for the year 1944 be awarded to the dotes Publishing Company,
Canonsburg, Pa., in accordance with their bid of March 27, 1945.
Motion carried, with Deputy Controller Dentel present when this action was taken, and
instructed to return the certified cheek of the unsuccessful. bidder.
There being no further business to come before the Board at this time, the meeting
was adjourned.

Motion duly made and seconded that the letter of Commissioner G#Neil, withdrawing his
' resignation which was presented to the Board on July 2, 1945, be-acoepted and turned over to the
j Solicitor for legal interpretation and for further action at the regular meeting on Monday,
July 16, 1945,
Motion carried.
There being no further business to come before the Board at this time, the meeting was
adjourned.

j resigned on July 14, 1945, and the Court on July 19, 1945, having appointed Henry J. Lowstuter,

! of Charleroi, as his successor, he, the said Henry J. Lowstuter, having been duly qualified

j by taking the oath of office, presented himself and at once took his position as a member of the
Board of County Commissioners of the County of Washington, !

Motion duly made and seconded that the County Treasurer be authorized to cancel tax i

sale of April 3, 19", in the name of Mike iiisoroski, in Smith Toynship, on property described i

as "2 lots, 20 and 21 - Easton Plan", inasmuch as this was a duplication'eith assessment of
Mike Wysocki, who is assessed with "House & lots - ' of 20 and 1 of 21 -- Easton Plan".
