Mr. Pettit and Mr. Lowstuter.
Minute No. 115 read and approved.
Motion duly made and seconded that the offer of J. A. Irwin of Washington, Pa., in the
sum of $500*00 for 1 Galion Trench Roller be accepted, in accordance with continuance of sale
authorized by Minute No. 378, dated November 26, 1943, and that a Bill of Sale for the same be
1 properly executed.
Motion carried.
There being no further business to come before the Board at this time, the meeting
was adjourned.

Motion duly made and seconded that the County Controller be authorized to advertise
for the printing and delivering to the office of the County Commissioners the necessary ballots i
and election supplies required for the conduct of the Municipal Election to be hold Tuesday,
November 6, 1945*

Deputy Controller Dentel called into the meeting for the purpose of opening bids for
the replacement of approximately 1200 square feet of sidewalk and approximately 3 cubic yards
of extra depth concrete around the Court House, in accordance with advertisement of the County
Controller.
In accordance therewith, the following bid was opened and read:
T. ilk. MOORE
In accordance with the advertisement of the County Controller,
inviting proposals for the replacement of approximately 1200
square feet of sidewalk and approximately 3 cubic yards of
extra depth concrete around the Court House, having examined the
attached specifications and understanding the same, I (Or -we)
propose to replace said items at the following prices:
1200 sq. ft. of two course concrete
sidewalk, 4" depth......... .................. .44 per sq. ft.
3 cue yds. extra depth concrete
under sidewalk .............................. 45.00 per cue yd.
iA certified check in the amount of $200.00 is herewith enclosed.
Motion by Mr. Pettit, seconded by Mr. Lowstuter, that contract for said replacement
of sidewalk and extra depth concrete be awarded to T. M. Moore, 158 Park avenue, Washington, Pa.,
upon his bid as set forth above, it being the only bid received.
Motion carriedg with Deputy Controller Dentel present when this action was taken.
There being no further business to come before the Board at this time, the meeting
was adjourned.

Board of County Commissioners in regular session, those present being Mr. Cummins,
Mr. Pettit and Mr. Lowstuter.
Motion duly made and seceded that the County Controller be authorized to advertise
for the removal of the existing Bituminous Nearing Surface, and for the placing of a new one -
course Bituminous'Wearing Surface, on the timber deck and on the brick approach spans of the
Aonora-Webster Bridge over the Monongahela River.

Motion duly made and seconded that the Bell Telephone Company of Pennsylvania, its
successors or assigns, for the consideration of $1,00, be hereby granted the privilege and
authority to construct and maintain poles, wires, etc., over or on Washington County owned
