Minute No. 128 read and approved. i Motion duly made and seconded that W. R. Dennison and George Weaver, both of Washington, ! 1� Pa., be appointed as assistants to the County Board of Elections in canvassing votes cast by offiei4l d military ballots at the Municipal Election held November 6, 1945. � s Notion carried. There being no further business to come before the Board at this time, the meeting was i I p i adjourned. Minute No. 129 read and approved, I i Motion duly made and seconded that the County Treasurer be authorized to cancel Tax Sale of April 26, 1943, to Washington County, for non-payment of 1935, 1936 and 1937 County, School and Borough Taxes, of property in New Eagle Borough, assessed in the name of Mariado Haupt, and described as I Fr. House & I of lot 18, River View Plan, Main St.", inasmuch as the same became the property of Washington County by virtue of a sale dated in 1940, and was re -sold by the County � i on M07 1, 1943, to James and Agnes Cook. j E Lotion carried. Motion duly made and seconded that the County Treasurer be authorised to cancel Tax Sale I of April 26, 1940, to Washington County, for non-payment of 1931 and 1934 County, School and Borough., I � and 1933 County Taxes, of property in the Borough of Houston, assessed in the name of Anna Johnston! and described as "Lot #116 Cummins Plan", inasmuch as the same is a duplication of property i assessed in the name of Joe Davis, i ( Motion carried.
