PETTIT, JOHN N. ❑'NEIL, COMMISSIONERS NO. 131 Office of the County Cottmti. s sioners Washington, Pa., November 26, 1945 Board of County Commissioners in regular session, those present being Mr. Cummins, Mr. Pettit and Mr. Lowstuter. Motion duly made and seconded that the following Resolution be adopted: BE IT RESOLVW by the County Commissioners of Washington County, that the plans submitted by the Pennsylvania department of Highways for the changing of Re -located Traffic Route 31 and/or Legislative Routes 118, 519, 62136, 62097 and 62156,,in Fallowfield Township and Twilight Borough, between Stations j 837,4600 and 1140/00, have been examined and the County j Commissioners agree that Washington County will not assume liability for any property damages resulting from the construction of the above highway as contemplated by these plans, or any damages arising out of any changes or alteration j of drainage resulting from the construction or maintenance of ,the highway, or any damages resulting to any property or holdings of any Public Utility Company; nor will the County assume any damages resulting to any coal or other minerals in and underlying the property affected by this improvement. I Motion carried. i There being no further business to come before the Board at this time, the meeting . was adjourned. Minutes Rios. 130 and 131 read and approved. Motion duly made and seconded that the County Treasurer be authorized to cancel tax sale of April 22, 1940, to Washington County, covering Lot No. 65 in the Hallam and Berthel Plan of hots in Canton Township, for the non-payment of 1931-32-33 and 34 County, School and Road Taxes, inasmuch as this tax was a duplicate assessment of property owned by Arthur Gromo. Motion carried. Motion duly made and seconded that an appropriation in the amount of $300.00 be made to the Test Alexander Agricultural Association towards defraying expenses in connection with j the annual fair. OINEIL, COMMISSIONERS __AW__ to Company H, loth Infantry, Pennsylvania Guard, said Company having presented a certified copy of the Audit and Certification from the Adjutant General that such unit had passed the Annual Inspection, in accordance with Pamphlet Laws of 1929, page 1333,, Section 412. Motion carried. Motion duly made and seconded that a refund be made to George B. Sprowls, Clayeville, Pa., of the proportionate share of County Taxes paid in 1945 on a lot at 234 Main St., Claysville, Pa., erroneously assessed at 41500*00 instead of $500.00. Motion carried. Motion duly made and seconded that the Chief Clerk be directed to notify, Warden Roupe, by letter, that in the future the practice of washing cars on the premises of the County Jail will not be permitted, effective immediately. Motion carried. Mere being no further business to come before the Board at this time, the meeting was adjourned. Motion duly made and seconded that the County Treasurer be authorized to void Tax Lien for 1940 County Taxes against property at 1013 Chess Street, in the City of Monongahela, assessed for said yearinthe name of Joseph and Martha Renriok,, inasmuch as the same was a duplicate assessment of property belonging to Stephen and Barbara Nagy, now owned by Ventura and Sara I Paoleschi.
