Board of County Commissioners in regular session, specially called, those present being

Mr. Cummins, Mr. Pettit and Tear. O'Neil.
Motion by Mr. Pettit, seconded by Mr. Cummins, that the budget for the General Fund of
the County of Washington for the fiscal year 1944 be finally adopted as advertised and revised by thel
County Commissioners, the said budget having been available for public inspection in the Office of
;the Chief Clerk of the County Commissioners from February 26, 1944, to March 18, 1944, in accordance
{with the provisions of the Act of Assembly of July 18, 1935, and that the rate of taxation upon the
valuation of properties of the County of Washington, in order to raise sufficient revenue to meet
required expenditures for the fiscal year 1944, be fixed at five and one-half (52fl mills, which makes
ithe payment of taxes.in the amount of fifty-five (55X) cents upon each $100.00 of assessed i
;valuation of real estate and occupation. Motion carried.

There being no further business before the Board, the meeting was adjourned. i
