Board of County Commissioners in regular session, those present being Mr. Cummins,
Mr. Pettit and Mr. OtNeil.
Minutes Nos. 65 and 66 read and approved.
Motion by Mr. Pettit, seconded by Mr. Cummins, that Austin Knestrick be authorized to

proceed with repair to the hiring in the County Jail, in accordance with recommendations of West
Penn Power Company, on a time and material basis. Motion carried.
Motion duly made and seconded that approval be given to the execution of a Deed of
Release and Quitclaim to the Commonwealth and any agency or political subdivision thereof,
covering property owned by Washington County abutting on a section of road in Robinson Township,
Washington County, Pennsylvania, designated on the records of the Department of Highways as
L. R. 621801, Section S-1, the property being situated between stations 374/19 and 374/79 on the
left side of the road. The consideration for said Release is the benefit -resulting from the
improvements of the said road. Motion carried. -
There being no further business to come before the Board at this time, the meeting was
adjourned.

Mr. Pettit and Mr. 0*Neil.
Motion duly made and seconded that H. W. Minnemeyer, Chairman of Washington County
Council of Defense, be authorized to have any or all unnecessary telephones removed from the
Washington County Control Center. Motion carried.
Motion duly made and seconded that Arthur F. Filer, of 160 S. Made Ave., Washington,
be appointed coordinator for Washington County Council of Defense and Washington County Chapter
{
of the .American Red Cross, jointly. Motion carried.
Motion duly made and seconded that the Chief Clerk be authorized to make application
to Office of Price Administration for priority to purchase four new cars, two for the
District Attorney's Office and two for the Sheriffs Office. Motion carried.
Motion duly made and seconded that the County Commissioners execute a Release in
favor of Kenneth B. Colteryahn, of Burgettstown, and Samuel Goldfarb, of Washington, covering
