Upon motion duly made and seconded, the Board adjourned to meet with the Coroner at
1:50 P. M., to fix the salary of the Secretary.

The Salary Board of the County of Washington, having to do with the fixing of salaries
in the Office of the Coroner, met in the Office of the County Commissioners on Wednesday,
January 12, 1944, at 1:50 P.M., with the following members present: County Commissioners CuImnins,
Pettit and O'Neil; County Controller Stuart; and Coroner Michael J. Sweeney.
Motion by Mr. Sweeney, seconded by Mr. Pettit, that the salary of Margaret Meiser,

+ Secretary to the Coroner, be fixed at $140.00 per month for the year 1944, covering the period
from the first Monday in January, 1944 to the first Monday in January, 1945. Motion carried.
Upon motion duly made seconded and carried, the Board adjourned iia meet at 2:00 P.M., �
to fix salaries in the County Treasurer's Office.

County Commissioners Cummins, Pettit and O*Neil; County Controller Stuart; and County Treasurer
James H. Douglas.
Motion by Mr. Douglas, seconded by Mr. Pettit, that the salaries of employees in the
Treasurer's Office be fixed as follows for the respective positions set forth below for the year
