The Salary Board of the County of Washington, having to do with the fixing of salaries of employees in the Office of the Recorder of Deeds, met in the Office of the County Commissioners on Wednesday, January 12, 1944, at 2:10 F.M., with the following members present: County Commissioners Cummins, Pettit and 0*Neil; County Controller Stuart; and Recorder of Deeds William D. Smith. Motion by Mr. Smith, seconded by Mr. Pettit, that the salaries of employees in the Recorder of Deeds Office be fixed as follows for the respective positions set forth below for the year 1944, covering the period from the first Monday in January, 1944, to the first Monday in January, 1945: Alice Leckey, Deputy 215,00 per month j Matilda Mc Glade, Index Clerk 170.00 " :t I Marie Lincoln, Transcriber 135,00 '` n Nida Bruner, Transcriber 130.00 Elizabeth Chelena, Transcriber 130.00 " n I Betty Armstrong, Trnnscriber 130.00 Lillian Bartoletti, Clerk 130.00 " Caroline Koplin, Clerk 110.00 " is i Wallace S. Gourley, Solicitor 41.66 Motion carried. Upon motion duly made, seconded and carried, the Board adjourned to meet with the District Attorney at 2:20 P.M., to fix the salary of his secretary. NO. 6 Office of the County Commissioners I Washington, Pa., January 12, 1944. The Salary Board of the County of Washington, having to do with the fixing of the salary of the secretary to the District Attorney, met in the Office of the County Commissioners on Wednesday, January 12, 1944, at 2:20 P.M., with the following members present: County Commissioners Cummins, Pettit and O'Neil; County Controller Stuart; and District Attorney George t i T. Cummins. Motion by District Attorney Cummins, seconded by Mr. Pettit, that the salary of Mickey Bell, Secretary to the District Attorney, be fixed at $150.00 per month for the year 1944, covering the period from the first Monday in January, 1944, to the first Monday in January, 1945, Motion carried, i Upon motion duly made, seconded and carried, the Board adjourned to meet at 2:30 P.M., to fix salaries in the Office of the Prothonotary.
