Washington, Pa., January 12, 1944.
The Salary Board of the County of Washington, having to do with the fixing of the
salary of the Secretary of the County Superintendent of Schools, met in the Office of the County
Commissioners on Wednesday January 12, 1944, at 2:50 P.M., with the following members present:
County Commissioners Cummins, Pettit and O'Neil; and County Controller Stuart. Superintendent
of Schools, J. L. Roberts, was also present.
Upon recommendation of 1411r. Roberts, motion was made by Mr. Pettit, seconded by
Mr. Stuart, that the salary of Georgene Morton, Secretary to the County Superintendent of Schools,
be fixed at $140.00 per month for the year 1944, covering the period from the first Monday in
January, 1944, to the first Monday of January, 1945. Motion carried.
Upon motion duly made, seconded and carried, the Board adjourned to meet again with
F. Leo Wright, Clerk of Courts, at 3:00 P.M., to fix the salary of his deputy.

Washington, Pa., January 12, 1944.
The Salary Board of the County of Washington, having to do with the fixing of salaries
in the Office of the Clerk of Courts, met in the Office of the County Commissioners on "filednesday,
January 12, 1944, at 3:00 P.M., for the purpose of fixing the salary of the Deputy Clerk of
Courts, with the following members present: County Commissioners Cummins, Pettit and O'Neil;
County Controller Stuart; and Clerk of Courts F.,Leo Wright.

( Motion by T,ir. Wright, seconded by Mr. Pettit, that the salary of Irene B. Burroughs,
4 Deputy Clerk of Courts, be fixed at 0205.00 per month for the year 1944, covering the period

from the first Monday in January, 1944, to the first 1,6onday in January, 1945. Motion carried.
Upon motion duly made, seconded and carried, the Board adjourned to meet at 3:10 P.M.,
to fix salaries in the Office of the County Controller.
