The Salary Board of the County of Washington, having to do with the fixing of salaries of employees coming under the jurisdiction of the County Commissioners, met in the Office of the r County Commissioners on Wednesday, January 12, 1944, at 3:20 P.11T., with the -following members present: County Commissioners Cummins, Pettit and O'Neil; and County Controller Stuart. Motion by Mr. Cummins, seconded by Mr. Pettit, that the salaries of the persons named I below, employed by the County Commissioners in the respective capacities set forth, be fixed as follows for the year 1944, covering the period from the first Monday in January, 1944, to the f first Monday in January, 1945, except where noted: 71. Motion carried. Motion by Mr. Cummins, seconded by IUIr. Pettit, that the salary of Lula Henry, Matron at the Juvenile Detention Home, be fixed at $75.00 per month for the year 1944, and that of May Osborne, Assistant Matron, be fixed at $65.00 per month for the year 1944, both to cover the period from the first Monday in January, 1944, to the first Monday in January, 1945. Motion carried.
