Motion carried, and the Chief Clerk in the Registration Office directed to make notation j j of this action on the minutes of the Registration Commission. { There being no further business before theSalary Board, the meeting was adjourned. ! i i NO. 25 { 'Office of the County Commissioners � Washington, Pa., May 6, 1944 The Salary Board of the County of Washington, having to do with the matter of fixing I salaries of employees coming under the jurisdiction of the County Commissioners, met in the Office of the County Commissioners on Saturday, May 60 1944, with the following members present: j County Commissioners Cummins and Pettit, and Controller Harvey Stuart. ! i Motion by Mr. Cumins, seconded by Mr. Pettit, that the salary of Indamae Cain, employed ? as a Clerk in the Office of the Board of Assessment and Revision of Taxes, be fixed at 125.00 i per month for the year 1944, effective May Ist, 1944, and covering the period from that date until the first Monday in January, 1945. Motion carried, I Motion by Mr. Cummins, seconded by Mr. Pettit, that the mileage rate for Assessors in I attending Assessorts Meetings and in,making return of their respective transcripts for the 1945 Assessment be fixed at six cents ($.06) per mile. Motion carried. I There being no furtherbusiness to come before the Board at this time, the meeting i was adjourned. ( NO. 26 Office of the County Commissioners Washington, Pa., May 80 1944 The Salary Board of the County of Washington, having to do with the matter of fixing 1 salaries of employees coming under the jurisdiction of the County Commissioners, met in the Office i of the County Commissioners on Monday, May 8, 1944, with the following members present: County i Commissioners Cummins, Pettit and OtNeil, and Deputy Controller Dentel. Motion by Mr. Pettit, seconded -by Mr. Cummins, that the rate of pay for those persons appointed as Assistants to the Official Return Board,other than county employees, be fixed at $7.50 per day for the time actually employed, effective for the recent Primary held April 25, 1944, and for each Primary and each Election hereafter until further action of the Board. Motion carried: There being no further business to come before the Board at this time, the meeting was adjourned. rw
