NO. 2 Office of the County Commissioners Washington, Pa., May 26, 1944 The Salary Board of the County of Washington, having to do with the fixing of salaries in the Office of the Clerk of Courts, met in the office of the County Commissioners on Friday, May 26, 1944, with the following members present: County Commissioners Cuumi.ns, Pettit and O'Neil, County Controller Stuart, and Clerk of Courts F. Leo Wright* Motion by Mr. Wright, seconded by Mr. Pettit, that the salary of Helen Bane, Deputy Clerk of Courts, be fixed at $205*00 per month for the year 1944, effective May 23, 1944, and covering the period from that time until the first Monday in January, 1945. Motion carried. iThere being no further business to come before the Board at this time, upon motion duly made and seconded, the meeting was adjourned. ********** NO. 28 i Office of the County Commissioners Washington, Pa., August,14, 1944 The Salary Board of the County of Washington, having to do with the fixing of salaries of employees in the Sheriff's Office, met in the Office of the County Commissioners on Monday, August 14, 1944, with the following members present: County Commissioners Cummins, Pettit and O*Neil, County Controller Stuart, and Sheriff C. 0. Williams. Motion by Mr. Williams, seconded by Mr. Stuart, that the salary of Also Stathas, employed as Deputy in the Sheriff's Office, be fixed at the rate of $185.00 per month for the year 1944, effective September 1, 1944, and covering the period from that date until the first 1 Monday of January, 1945, subject to change at such time as receipts in the Sheriff's Office will warrant an increase of $10-400 per month. - Motion carried, Cummins, Pettit, Stuart and Williams voting favorably, O'Neil unfavorably.
