O'NEIL, COMMISSIONERS L n Office of the County Commissioners Washington, Pa., January_24, 1944 The Salary Board of the County of Washington, having to do with the matter of fixing 4 salaries of employees in the Office of the Clerk of Courts, Prothonotary, Register of Wills and Treasurer,`met in the Office of the County Commissioners on Monday, January 24, 1944, with the following members present: County Commissioners Cummins, Pettit and O*Neil; Treasurer, James H. Douglas; Register of Fills, Leo L. Considine; Clerk of Courts, F. Leo Wright; Controller Harvey Stuart; and Prothonotary, Robert Crawford. Motion by F. Leo Wright, seconded by Leo L. Considine, that the sal ary of W. D. i Brightwell and that of Hugh O*Donnell, Custodians of the Records of the aforementioned offices of the Clerk of Courts, Prothonotary, Register of Wills and Treasurer, be fixed at $120.00 each per month for each month so employed during the year 1944, covering the period from the first Monday in January, 1944, to the first Monday in January, 1945; said Custodians of the Records j to alternate in the performance of their duties in such manner as to meet with the approval I of the officials of the said offices, and their salaries to be charged in equal proportions to the said offices. Motion carried. Upon motion duly made, seconded and carried, the Board adjourned. I NO. 19 l Office of the County commissioners s j Washington, Pa., January 28, 1944 The Salary Board of the County of Washington, having to do with the matter of fixing salaries of employees conning under the jurisdiction of the County Commissioners, met in the Office of the County Commissioners on -Friday, January 28, 1944, with the following members presents County Commissioners Cummins, Pettit and OrNeil, and County Controller Stuart. Motion by Mr. Pettit, seconded by Mr. Cummins, that the salary of William Butler, employed as a Clerk in the Real Estate Office, be fixed at the rate of $135.00 per month for the year 1944, effective January 16, 1944, and covering the period from that date to the first Monday in January, 1945. Lotion carried. Motion by Mr. Pettit, seconded by Mr. Cummins, that Prank Briggs, employed in the Court House as Maintenance Repairman, be paid at the rate of 5.00 per day for the actual number of days employed. Motion carried. There being no further business to come before the Board, the meeting was adjourned. `l Y� t 5
