NO. 3 Office of the County Commissioners February 10, 1945 The Salary Board of the County of Washington, governing the salaries of employees coming under the jurisdiction of the County Commissioners, met in the office of the County Commissioners on Saturday,, February 10,, 1945, with the following members present: Commissioners Cumnins., Pettit and O'Neil; and County Controller Stuart. Cummins., that the salary of Albert Minnicucci., employed as Field Clerk in the Real Estate Department, be fixed at $160.00 per month for the year 1945, effective February 1., 1945, and covering the period from that date until the first Monday in January., 1946. District Attorney George Cummins called into the meeting. Motion by District Attorney Cummins., seconded by Commissioner Cummins that the salary of Mickey Bell, Secretary, be adjusted to $165.00 per month for the year 1945, covering the period from the first Monday in January., 1945, to the first Monday in January., 1946. Motion carried. District Attorney Cummins excused from the meeting. Next in order of business was the matter of fixing the salary of the Secretary in the I Coroner's Office. Michael �yeeney, Coroner., was absent from the County at this time, and re — I quested that the Salary Board act in his absence. Motion by Mr. Cummins., seconded by 11r. Pettit, that the salary of Margaret Price, Secretary, be adjusted to $150.00 per month for the year 1945, covering the period from the first Monday in January, 19' 45., to the first .Monday in January., 1946. Motion carried. Next in order of business was the matter of fixing the salary of the Secretary in the I Superintendent of Schoolst Office. J. L. Roberts., Superintendent of Schools., called into the meeting. Upon suggestion of Mr. Roberts., motion was made by Mr. Pettit, seconded by LW. PETTIT, JOHN N. ❑INEIL, COMMISSIONERS MONIINIIAHOLA PUBLISHING C13, Motion by Mr. Pettit., seconded by It% Cumnins., that all persons employed as extra Court Clerks by the Prothonotary and Clerk of Courts be paid at the rate of $4.50 per day; that persons employed as extra clerical help, having ninety days' experience, be paid at the rate of $4.50 per day, provided that the official holding said office inwhichsuch clerical help is employed, shall first certify to the County Controller that such extra clerical help has had at least ninety days' experience in that office; that all other clerical help be paid at the rate of $4.00 per day; and that substitute cleaners be paid at the rate of $2.50 per day; all of the foregoing rates to be effective for the time actually employed in the respective capacities for the year 1945, covering the period from the first Monday in January., 1945, to the first Monday in January., 1946.
