Washington, Pa., November 5., 1945
The Salary Board of the County of Washington met in the office of the County
Commissioners on Monday, November 5, 1945. Those present were Commissioners Cummins and Pettit
and Controller Stuart.
Sheriff Williams called into the meeting for the purpose of fixing the salary of
Gertrude Murray.
Motion duly made and seconded that the salary of Gertrude Murray., employed as a Clerk
in the Sheriffts Office, be fixed at $130.00 per month for the year 1945, effective October 16,
1945, and covering the period from that date until the first Monday in January, 1946.
Motion carried.
There being no further business to come before the Board at this time, the meeting
was adjourned.

The Salary Board of the County of Washington., having to do with the fixing of
salaries of employees in the Recorder of Deeds Office., met in the Office of the County
Commissioners on Friday., November 16., 1945, with the following members present: County
Commissioners Cummins., Pettit and Lowstuter., County Controller Stuart and Recorder of Deeds
William Do Smith.
Motion by 1a1r. Smith., seconded by Mr. Pettit., that the salary of John Bevec., Clerk in

the Recorder of Deeds OfficeP be fixed at $200 per month for the remainder of the year 1945,
j effective as of November 1., 1945.
Motion carried.
There being no further business to come before the Board, the meeting was adjourned,
