NO. 1 3 A L A R Y B 0 A R D 1 9 4 5 Office of the County Commissioners Washington, Pa., January 9, 1945 The Salary Board of the County of Washington, having to do with the salaries of employees coming under its jurisdiction, met in the Office of the County Commissioners on Tuesday., January 9., 1945, at 3:55 p.m..., with the following members present: Commissioner Ross R. Cummins,, Chairman; Commissioner Francis E. Pettit, Secretary; Controller Harvey Stuart; District Attorney George Cummins; Sheriff C. 0. Williams; Register of Wills Leo Considine; Prothonotary Robert J..Crawford; Recorder William D. Smith; Clerk of Courts Leo Wright; and County Treasurer James Douglas. Motion by Mr. Williams., seconded by Xr. Crawford that the salaries for the year 1944 be continued at the same rate until such time as the valuation of properties for tax purposes and the funds available for payment of salaries can be ascertained., any changes in salaries at that time to be retroactive to January 1, 1945. Motion unanimously carried. There being no further business to come before the Board at this time., the meeting was adjourned. NO. 2 Office of the County Commissioners Washington,, Pa.., January 13., 1945 The Salary Board of the County of Washington, Having to do with the salaries of employees coming under the jurisdiction of the County Commissioners, met in the office of the County Commissioners on Saturday., January 13., 1945, with the following members present: !Commissioners Cummins, Pettit and O'Neil; and County Controller Stuart. Motion by 11r. Pettit, seconded by Mr. Cummins., that the salaries of the persons named lbelow., employed by the Board of Assessment and Revision of Taxes in the respective capacities i set forth., be fixed as follows for the year 1945, covering the period from the first Monday in January., 1945, to the first Monday in January., 1946: Iphigenia Scoumis., Clerk 125-00 per month Isabelle Flynn, Clerk 125-00 Juanita Sproat,, Secretary 125-00 Motion carried. There being no further business to come before the Board at this timel the meeting was adjourned.
