The Salary Board of the County of Washington, having to do with the salaries of employees
coming under its jurisdiction, met in the office of the County Commissioners on Wednesday, February 06

� 1946, with the following members presents County Commissioners Cummins, Pettit and Lowstuter, and

County Controller Stuart. j

Prothonotary Robert Crawford called into the meeting for the purpose of fixing the i
I
salaries of employees in said office. i

Motion by Mr. Crawford, seconded by Mr. Pettit, that the salaries of employees in said ,
office be fixed as follows for the respective positions set forth for the year 1946, covering the j
period from the first Monday in January, 1946, to the first Monday in January, 1947, except where
noted: I
Peter Lee, Deputy (effective when certified to the Controller R
by the Prothonotary) $ 235.00 per month
Russell S. Riggle, Index Clerk 190.00 " "
Anne Murray, Index Clerk 170,00 "
Naomi. Longdon, Clerk 150.00 " "

Motion carried.
Prothonotary Robert Crawford excused from the meeting at this time.
Motion by Mr. Pettit, seconded by Mr. Lowstuter, that the salary of Amor Hal.liburton,
employed as a Clerk in the Real Estate Department, be fixed at $145.00 per month for the year 1946,
effective February 1, 1946, and covering the period from that date to the first Monday in January,
1947; and that the salary of Helen Falcon, transferred from the Real Estate -Department to the Office
of the County Commissioners, remain at $145.00 per month for the year 1946.

Motion duly made and seconded that the salary of Colin Swingle, employed as Assistant

Building Engineer in the Court House, be fixed at $160,00 per month for the year 1946, effective

February 1, 1946, and covering the period from that date to the first Monday in January, 1947.

Register of "Mills Leo L. Considine called into the meeting for the purpose of fixing
the salary of the Second Deputy in his office.
Motion by Mr. Considine, duly seconded, that the salary of Guy A. Rogers, Second

Deputy Register of Wills,, be set at $220,00 per month for the year 1946, effective February 1,
1946, and covering the period from that date to the first Monday in January, 1947.

Motion carried.
Mr. Considine excused from the meeting at this time.
There being no further business to come before the meeting, it was adjourned.

Office of the County Commissioners
Washington., Pa.., March 11, 1946
The Salary Board of the County of Washington met in the office of the County
Commissioners on Monday., March ll, 1946, with the following members present: Commissioners
i
Cummins, Pettit and Lowstuter, and Deputy Controller Dentel.
Motion duly made and seconded that the rate of pay for Special Field Registrars
i
employed by the Registration Commission be fined at $10.00 per day for each day so employed,
such rate of pay to include all travel and other expenses of persons so employed; and that the
i rate of pay for local persons employed as Assistants to the Special Field Registrars in the
various places of registration in the County be fixed at $6.00 per day for the actual number of
` days so employed.
Motion carried, and the Chief Clerk in the Registration Office directed to make
i notation of this action on the minutes of the Registration Commission.
There being no further business to come before the Board at this time, the meeting
was adjourned.
