PETTIT, J❑HN N. ❑'NEIL, COMMISSIONERS Motion by Mr. Pettit, seconded by Mx. Cummins, that all persons employed as laborers on the Court House Cleaning Force be paid at the rate of 75 cents per hour for the time actually employed in said capacity for the year 1946, effective July 1, 1946, and covering the period from that date to the first Monday in January, 1947. Motion carried. Motion by Mr. Pettit, seconded by Mr. Cummins, that the salary of James 0. Roupe, Warden of the County Jail, be adjusted to $235.00 per month for the year 1946, effective July 12 1946, and j covering the period from that date to the first Monday in January, 1947. I Motion carried. It is understood and agreed that the above adjustments do not apply to employees leaving ! i f the service prior to the date of this action. { There being no further business to come before the Board at this time, the meeting was i � 4 adjourned. I The Salary Board of the County of Washington met in the office of the County Commissioners with the following members present: Commissioners Cummins, Pettit and Lowstuter, and Deputy I Controller Dentel. Motion by Mr. Lowstuter, seconded by Mr. Cummins, that the salary of Georgene Morton, I Secretary in the Office of the Superintendent of Schools, be fixed at $165.00 per month for the year! 1946, effective September 1, 1946, and covering the period from that date to the first Monday in I j January, 1947. Motion carried. ! I Motion by Mr. Lowstuter, seconded by Mr. Cummins, that the salary of Gino Amanati, Chief Registrar and Inspector of Registrations in the Registration Office, be fixed at $215.00 per month for the year 1946, effective September 16, 1946, and covering the period from that date to the first Monday in January, 1947. Motion carried. ; There being no further business to come before the Board at this time, the meeting was adjourned. f 1
