Washington, Pa., September 22, 1947
The Salary Board of the County of Washington met in the office of the County
Commissioners on Monday, September 22, 1947, with the following members present: Commissioners
Cummins, Pettit and Lowstuter, and County Controller Stuart.
County Treasurer Douglas called into the meeting for the purpose,of fixing salaries of
employees in his office.
Motion by Mr. Douglas, seconded by Mr. Cummins, that the salary of Margaret Cantini,
employed as Posting Clerk in the County Treasurer's Office, replacing Mildred Vranovich, be fixed at
$180.00 per month for the year 1947, effective September 1, 1947, and covering the period from that
date to the first Monday in January, 1948; and that the salary of Evelyn Recchio, Posting Clerk, be
fixed at $170.00 per month for the year 1947, effective September 16, 1947, and covering the period
from that date to the first Monday in January, 1948.
i Motion carried.
Motion by Mr. Lowstuter, seconded by Mr. Cummins, that the salary of Adah Griffiths
Donnan, Secretary in the office of the Board for the Assessment and Revision of Taxes, be fixed at
! $160.00 per month for the year 1947, effective September 22, 1947, and covering the period from
that date to the first Monday in January, 1948.
Motion carried.
There being no further business to come before the Board at this time, the meeting
was adjourned.

The Salary Board of the County of Washington met in the office of the County
Commissioners on Wednesday, October 1, 1947, with the following members present: Commissioners
Cummins, Pettit and Lowstuter, and Deputy Controller Dentel.
Prothonotary Robert Crawford called into the meeting for the purpose of fixing the
salary of the Deputy Prothonotary.
Motion by Mr. Crawford, seconded by Mr. Pettit, that the salary of James Reardon,
Deputy Prothonotary, be fixed at $250.00 per month for the year 1947, effective September 10, 1947,
and covering the period from that date to the first Monday in January, 1948.
Motion carried.
There being no further business to come before the Board at this time, the meeting
was adjourned.
