THE FOREGOING MINUTES READ AND APPROVED: January 12, 194 ATTEST: NO, 14 Office of the County Commissioners, Washington, Pa., January 11, 1940. County Commissioners in regular session, those present being Messrs. Berryman, Cummins and O'Neil. Motioniy Mr. Cummins, seconded by Mr. Berryman, that the County Controller be authorized to advertise for bids to be opened at 11:00 A.M., January 25, 1940, in the Office of the County Commissioners, for furnishing one Caterpiller No. 10 Tandem Auto Patrol Motor Grader as per specifications on file in the Engineering Department; certified check in the amount of $200000 j must accompany each bid and the right is reserved to reject any or all bids, and further, the right is reserved to make such an award of the contract as deemed by the County Commissioners to be for the best interests of Washington County. Motion carried, with Mr. O'Neil voting "No". County Commissioners in regular session, specially called, those present being Messrs. Berryman, Cumains and O'Neil. Minutes No. 1-4-7-8-9-11-12, of the preoeeding meetings, were read and approved; the read- ing of Minutes No. 13-14, on Jan. 12, 1940, was confirmed by the Board. Motion by Mr. Cummins, seconded by Mr. Berryman, that the County of Washington take an appeal from the award of the viewers made to Frank Skokut in the amount of 900 for damages in connection with the improvement of the Taylors Run Road in Carroll Township. Motion carried. (Date of award: Dec. 28, 1939), REMARKS: Mr. O'Neil called the attention of the Board tb the unpaid vouchers of 1939 which have been approved by the County Controller and are awaiting payment. He also raised the question in connection with the matter of where only the signatures of two Commissioners
