O'NEIL, COMMISSIONERS 1 1 n NO. 17 Office of the County Commissioners, Washington, Pa., January 15, 1940. County Commissioners in regular session, those present being Messrs. Berryman, Cummins and O'Neil. Motion by Mr. Cummins, seconded by Mr. Berryman, that the appointment of Joseph Bannister, Elevator Operator, lade January 1, 1940, be effective as of January 12, 1940. Motion carried, with Mr. O'Neil voting "No". There being no further business before the Board, the meeting was adjourned. County Commissioners in regular session, those present being Messrs. Berryman and Cummins, Mr. O'Neil being absent. The Washington County Soil Conservation Committee, composed of the following members: William G. Wilson, Chairman, Phillip F. Clark and E. Raymond Nelson, appeared before the Board of Commi s- sioners, with the request that provision be made for quarters in the Court House for the Wash- ington County Soil Conservation Association. Mr. Wilson advised the Board that in Allegheny County, Westmoreland County and Greene County, such provision was made by the County Commissioners. The merits and functions of the Association were discussed at length and the Committee was advised by Mr. Berryman that in the absence of a complete Board, action would be deferred temporarily, and the Committee advised of the decision of the Board at an early dates There being no further business in this connection, the meeting was adjourned, THE FOREGOING MINUTES .READ AND APPROVED: January 19, 194 ATTEST: r.r-..-rrwwwwrr�.s
