O'NEIL, COMMISSIONERS NO* 38 Office of the County Commissioners, Washington, Pa., February 21, 1940, County Commissioners in regular session, those present being Messrs. Cummins and O'Neil, Mr. I Berryman being absent. Motion duly made and seconded that the County Treasurer be authorized to accept 1939 County Tax against the property of James and Alcista Mercer, 7th Ward, City of Wadhington, less the regular 5% abatement, making an exoneration in the amount of 1.05, in accordance with court proceedings in connection with the payment of this tau, Motion carried. Cummins and O'Neil, Mr. Berryman being absent. i Motion duly made and seconded that the County Controller be authorized to advertise for bids for One Good Roads Champion,Snow Plow, Model 711, with front frame attaehement, for 3 ton Mack Truck (1936 Model), for use of the County Road Department; such bids to be received in the Office of the County Controller until ll:OO o'clock A.M., E.S.T., March 5, 1940, and opened im- mediately thereafter in the Office of the County Commissioners. A certified check in the amount of 50.00 must accompany each bid and the right is reserved to reject any or all bids, and also jto make such award as will be to the best interests of Washington County. Motion carried. Minutes Nos. 37 and 38 were read and approved by the Board. f There being no further business before the meeting, it was adjourned.
