WARD PRINTING CO-i2329__ Motion by Mr. Cummins, seconded by Mr. Berryman, that John Macalak of West Pike Run Township ii i be recommended to the proper WPA officials as General Foreman on the County Wide WPA Project (W.P. 23730) on the Rrepps Knob -.County Road in East Pike Run Township. Motion carried, with Mr. j O'Neil not voting. I Motion by Mr. Cummins, seconded by Mr. Berryman, that James Marquis, Hickory, Pa., be i recommended to the proper WPA officials as General Foreman on the County 7fide WPA Project 01I.P. 23730) on the Burgettstov:n..*Eldersville County Road. Motion carried, with Mr. O'Neil not voting; Ralph N. Lincoln, Project Engineer, Washington County, to be notified of the action of the County Commissioners in connection with the foregoing recommendations for supervision of j the projects stitulited, I The reading of Minute No. 47 on March 9, 1940, was confirmed bytthe Board and Minutes Nos. I i 48 and 49 were read and approved. There being no further business before the meeting, it was adjourned. County Commissioners in regular session, those present being Messrs. Berryman, Cu:rmnins and O'Neil, i i i Motion duly made and seconded that the compromise with Rollo V* Doak in connection with damages to his farm, resulting from the construction of Legislative Route 113, Section B, be t approved in the amount of 3000 and payment thereof, together with aocrudd interest of $30.00 j and the costs of the suit, (No. 10, November Term, 1938) is authorized. Motion carried, I Motion duly made and seconded that the compromise with Bess6 H. Scott in connection with damages to her farm, resulting from the construction of Legislative Route 113, Section B9 be fapproved in the amount of 1500 and payment thereof, together with accrued interest of 15.00 and the costs of the suit, (No. 9, November Term, 1938) is authorised. Motion carried. , Motion duly made and seconded that payment in the amount of 1800 to J. Wiley Davis be , authorized covering the award of the viewers for damages to his farm, resulting from -the con- struction of Route 62052, Section 3. Motion carried.
