Berryman, Cummins and O'Neil. Motion duly made and seconded that the County of Washington will not assume property damages within the borough limits of Houston in connection with the improvement of L.R. 62090 and that i S. P. Lon -street, District Engineer, District No. 12, Pennsylvania Department of Highways, 1 Uniontown, Pa., be so advised. Lotion carried. Motion duly made and seconded that the Polling Place in the lst Precinct of East Finley Town- j i ship be designated as the garage of R. L. MoCarrell, due notice of the proposed change having been posted in accordance with the provisions of the Act of Assembly governing such matters. Motion carried. Motion duly made and seconded that the following Resolution be adotped: BE IT RESOLVED, That the County of Washington accept the following Deeds of Release and Quitclaim on damages to properties situate in Fallowfield and Carroll Township, caused by the re- construction and relocation of Routes 62048 and 62050 in said Townships: ROUTE 62048 1, I. S. SPRONLS, situated in Fallowfield Township, from Station 0 on the right td Station 7+65 I on the right, a distance of 765 feet, in consideration of $1,00 f 2. FREDERICK ZIINER and MARGARET ZIMER, his wife, situate in fallowfield Township from, Station 0 on the left to Station 13#40 on the left, a distance of 1140 feet, in considera- tion of 551.00, 3. JOSEPH BONGIORNO and MARY BONGIORNO, his wife, situated in Fallowfield Township, from Station 11+40 on the left to Station 13+43 on the left, a distance of 203 feet, in con- sideration of $1.00 , I 4. ROUTE 62050 I i FRANK ZETTLE and MARGARET ZETTLE, his wife, situate in Fallowfield Township, from Station 38+I _on the left to Station 404-13 on the left, a distance of 195 feet, in considera- tion of-$1,00* 5. RUSSELL G. MELENYZER and MURIEL MELENYZER, his wife, situate in Fallowfield Township, from Station 52+67 on the right to Station 61+00 on the right, a distance of 843 i feet, in consideration of 0101.00. 6. JACOB BODY and ANNA BODY, his wife, situate in Carroll Township from Station 81+75 on the left to Station 104+84 on the left, a distance of 2309 feet, and from Station 86+08 on the right to Station 100460 on the right, a distance of 1452 feet, making a total distance of 3761 feet, in consideration of $301.00. 7. JOHN TURTZER and ANNA TURTZER, his wife, situated in Carroll Township, from Station 100460 on the right to Station 104+84 on the right, a distance of 424 feet, in condidera- tion of 1'-136,00., 8. R. S. COYLE. situate in Carroll Township, from Station 104+84 on the left to Station 108+68 on the left, a distance of 384 feet, in consideration of $1,00 and the construe- tion of a new driveway shown on the plan, to be constructed same as specifications of main road. , 9. VULSONt from Station 524.55, left, to Station 81+75, left; from Station 71430, right to i Station 86+07, right, (excepting that portion on the right fronting on property of Horeshoe Bottom Cemetery, a distance of about 255 feet), making a total dis- tance oA the right and left of about 4142 feet, in consideration of $1.00. j And, further, BE IT RESOLVED, that we accept a Release and Quitclaim of all damage' of Theodore Herilla as tenats �on said Wilson Farm above described, in consideration of 01.00 in hand, paid and the further consideration of 40.00 upon the reconstrue-I tion of the fence along right of way of said road, leaving it in as good condition as at present. WHEREAS, It appearing that the property of Lucia L. Koch in South Strabane Township was sold by the Sheriff at No. 110 February Term, 1933, and due to the improper assessment of same, the road, school and county taxes for the years 1927 and 1928 were not filed with the Sheriff in connection with the said Sale and that a surplus of 271.53 was aid over to the attorney for P p eY the plaintiff in connection with said sale; and vdHEREAS, It appearing that the School District and the Township Supervisors of South Strabane Township have agreed to consider the said surplus of $271.53 as a credit against the said taxes for the said years and to accept the balance of the said taxes without any penalty and interest; now, therefore, Motion duly made and seconded that the County of Washington also agree to consider the said surplus as a credit against the county taxes for the years 1927 and 1928 against the said prop- A erty and to accept the balance of said county taxes without penalty and interest attaching after January 1, 1933, Motion carried. WHiMEAS, It appearing that the property of Nathan Moscov in the 7th Ward of the City of Washington has been condemened by the Board of Health and the bbuilding torn dozen as a result i I, thereof; and I WHEREAS, It appearing that certain taxes have accrued against the lot remaining for the I years 1934 to 1939 inclusive, in excess of the value of the said lot and that a sale thereof is possible in order to put sauce upon a tax paying basis, provided that the said taxes can be com- promised for 50% of the face thereof to which compromise the School District and the City Council have agreed; now, therefore, Motion duly made and seconded that the County of Washington accept 50°o of the face of the said taxes assessed against the said property of Nathan Moscov of the 7th bard of the City of 4 _ Washington and that the County Contzm>ller be authorized to exonerate the balance of 'said taxes in the amount of $39.37 for the years 1934 to 1939 inclusive, Motion carried.
