The reading of Minutes Nos. 63 and 64 on April 15, 1940, was confirmed by the Board.
Motion duly made and seconded that the County Controller be authorized to return the certi-
fied checks of the unsuccessful bidders on the furnishing of the 1940 tax statements for use of
the County Treasurer. Motion carried.
There being no further business before the Board, the meeting was s.djourned.

County Commissioners in regular session, those present being Messrs. Berryman, Cummins and

O'Neil.
Lotion duly made and seconded that the Polling Place in and for the 3rd Precinct of Robi.nsan
j Township, Washington County, Pennsylvania, be changed from the residence of Mrs. Norma White
428 Valley Street, McDonald, Pa., to the residence of Mrs. Wk. Terrell, Valley Street, McDonald,
Pa., such change to be effective for the Primary to be held April 23, 1940, and made upon motion
of the Board of Elections in accordance with the Act of Assembly providing for emergency changes

which emergency was caused by a death in the family of Mrs. Norma White. Motion carried.
Motion duly madeand seconded that the rolling Place in the 4th Precinct of North Strabane
Township be changed from the Anthony Lugenski Garage to the Weavertown School House Recreation
i
Room., the Board having been advised on this date that the L gen.ski Garage will no longer be
i
available, such ehange being made upon motion of the Board without petition as provided by the
Act of Assembly for such emergency changes, motion carried.
Motion duly made and seconded that the County Commissioners approve the offer of R. W.
Knox to accept the sum of 250.00 in full settlement of damages to his property in connection
with the reconstruction of L. R. Route 62052, Section % in Somerset Township, and that the
County Solicitor be authorized to prepare the necessary release of damages to cover a full
settlement of the claim of R. W. Knox or any claim of the tenant residing on said property.
Motion carried.
Minutes Nos. 65-66 were read and approved by the Board.
There being no further business before the meeting, it was adjourned.
