County Commissioners in regular session, specially called, those present being Messrs. i Berryman, Cummins and O'Neil. I Motion duly made and seconded that the County Controller be authorized to transfer the sun of 04.43 from Appropriation Account No. 170 to Appropriation Account No. 163, as provided for in the budget for the year 1940. Motion carried. There being no further business before the meeting, it was adjourned. County Commissioners in joint session with the County Controller for the purpose of opening bids in accordance with the advertisement of the County Controller of June 4th for the delivery of one Ford truck for use of the County Road Department; present for County Commissioners, Messrs Berryman, Cummins and O'Neil; present for County Controller: Deputy G. J. Dentel. In connection with the foregoing advertisement, the following bid was opened and read in the presence of the County Commissioners: BRCUT & HUSTED, INC., Washington, Pa. 1 Ford V-8 Truck, Cab over Engine with 95 H.P. Motor, Platform body, helper springs, Oil bath air cleaner and Oil Filter, 32x6 ten ply heavy duty dual tires and 7OOx20 tires front, complete for.......... $1226.50 Less an allownace for trade-in of 1935 I2 Ton Dodge Truck Chassis, model K31......................................................... 251.50 975,00 Motion, by Mr. Cummins, seconded by Mr. Berryman, that the contract for the Ford truck be awarded to Brown & Husted, Inc., Washington, Pa., at their net bid of $975.00. Motion carried, with Mr. O'Neil not voting. In accordance with the request of the County Commissioners for bids in connection with the printing of the Historical Record Survey (O.P. 65-1-23-357 W.P, 22908), the following bids were opened and read in the presence of the County Commissioners:
