O'NEIL. COMMISSIONERS NO. 107 Office of the County Commissioners, Washington, Pa., Agggst 12, 1940 Board of County Commissioners in regular session, those present being Messrs. Berryman, i Cummins and O'Neil. Motion duly made and seconded that the County Controller be authorised to advertise for bids to. be received in his office in the Court House, Washington, Pa., until 12 ©'clock, noon, E.S.T., on August 23, 1940, and opened in the Office of the County Commissioners at 1s3O P. # E.S.T., the same day, for the surface treating of various roads requiring the application of approximately 21,000 gallons of tar and approximately 720 tons of limestone chips or 650 tons of slag chips; specifications and proposal blanks may be obtained at the Engineer's Office, Court House, Washington, Pa; and for bids at the same time and place for the placing of a mixed- in-place bituminous surface course on the following pieces of County Roads McCOnnells Mills Road 2700 sq. yds. Surface Course 100 tons Wedge Course i Beall sville-2ollarsvil1e Rd. 2300 sq. yds. Surface Course j 20 tons Wedge Course I Lone Pine-Marianna Road 1000 sq. yds. Surface Course i 100 tons Wedge Course Denbo Road 550 sq. yds. Surface Course and bids will also be received at the same time and place for the placing of a mixed-in-Aaoe bituminous wedge course, as follows: I Claysville-Burnsville Road 1100 tons Wedge Course also bids at the same time and place for the placing of a pre-mixed Bituminous Surface Course as follows: ICounty Home Road - widening 115 tons Surface Course Specifications and proposal blanks for all the above work may be obtained at the Engineer's I � I { Office, Court House, Washington, Pa; certified check for Two Hundred ( 200.00) Dollars must I, be furnished by each bidder on any or all of the above listed roads, and the right is reserved to reject any or all bids or to make such an award as is deemed to be to the best interests of Washington County.
