COMMISSIONERS 12 99 WARD PRINTING 1 N0. 111 Office of the County Commissioners, Washington, Pa., August 26, 1940. County Commissioners in joint session with the County Controller for the purpose of opening bids for repairing and rehabilitating seventy (70) dockets for the Recorder's Office in accordance with the advertisement of the County Controller; present for County Commissioners, Messrs. Cummins and O'Neil, Mr. Berryman being absent from the county, and County Controller J. X. Smith; also present was John H. Cooper, County Recorder. In connection with the aforementioned advertisement, the following bids were opened and read in the presence of the County Commissioners: MONONGAHEAA PUBLISHING COMPANY...* ... * ................... $93.75 per volume HULT?�UN BORTHERS........................................,. 175.00 per volume Motion duly made and seconded that the awarding of the contract be deferred until a later date. NO. 112 a Office of the County Comsaissioners, Washington, Pa., August 29, 1940. County Commissioners in regular session, specially called, those present being Messrs. Berry- man, Cummins and O'Neil. Notion duly made, seconded and carried that the following Resolution be adopted: RESOLVED, That in connection with the reconstruction of the sidewalk, curbing and driveways on West Beau Street, along the property of the County of Washington, it is hereby agreed that the I said County is to pay to the City of Washington the following prices for all curbing, driveways and sidewalks required in connection with the said improvement on County property, as estimated below, such work to be done under the supervision of the City of Washington and to be paid for by the County of Washington upon a satisfactory completion thereof: Concrete walk 3300 sq. ft. 0 14g $462,00 (4" in thickness) Concrete driveway 500 " " " 20g 100.00 (6" in thickness) Concrete curb 236 lin.
